ISCAR CERMILL: Indexable ceramic end mill for HTSA and cast iron

ISCAR is expanding the CERMILL product range, including new indexable round ceramic inserts. It is designed for ease of use, suitable for roughing and high-speed applications to improve production efficiency, increase output, and reduce machining time.

CERMILL is used for milling hard and heat-resistant materials, such as:

• Nickel-based high-temperature superalloys (HTSA)
• Cast iron

Highlights: 

• Indexable round ceramic inserts improve milling performance in hard materials such as superalloys and cast iron
• The tools can significantly increase both the cutting speed and feed speed, thereby reducing machining time and enhancing productivity. 
• Inserts are designed for easy setup, reducing setup time

ISCAR has expanded the product line to include:

1. New insert: EFN WDNX 0904-E04

• Double-sided insert with 4 cutting edges
• Maximum depth of cut: 1.5 mm
• IS35 SiAlON ceramic grade

2. New insert: FFN WNGF 1207-E04

• Double-sided insert with 6 cutting edges
• Maximum depth of cut: 2.5 mm
• S35 SiAlON ceramic grade

*Condition: Use dry coolant only.
