
Chonburi Leads with the Highest Number of Industrial Factories in June 2025
The Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, has released the latest statistics on the number of industrial factories that received operating licenses nationwide in June 2025. A total of 73 factories were granted licenses, with a combined investment value of 2,630.35 million baht. Chonburi province led the pack with 16 new factory licenses.
Top 3 Provinces with the Most Factory Licenses in June 2025
1) Chonburi – 16 factories, total investment of 1,180.37 million baht, employing 514 workers, with a total machine capacity of 55,265.41 horsepower.
2) Pathum Thani – 9 factories, total investment of 279.71 million baht, employing 194 workers, with a total machine capacity of 1,964.03 horsepower.
3) Samut Sakhon – 9 factories, total investment of 251.91 million baht, employing 102 workers, with a total machine capacity of 2,129.58 horsepower.
When considering only provinces with the highest increase in total industrial investment, the top three are: Chonburi (1,180.37 million baht), followed by Nakorn Pathom (280.47 million baht) and Pathum Thani (279.71 million baht).
