Thailand Automotive Exports 2025 Worth THB 947 Billion, Down 7.25% Amid Global Slowdown
Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) reported that Thailand’s total automotive exports in 2025 reached THB 947.03 billion, representing a 7.25% decline year-on-year from 2024. The figures cover passenger cars, pickup trucks, motorcycles, engines, parts, and accessories.
Despite the overall contraction in line with global market conditions, exports of electric and hybrid vehicles showed clear growth momentum, signaling a structural transition in Thailand’s automotive industry.
Passenger Cars and Auto Parts
Total export value of vehicles, engines, parts, and components stood at THB 880.45 billion, down 7.57%.

Total motorcycle exports including parts and accessories reached THB 66.58 billion, declining 2.75% year-on-year.
Industry Outlook
Although total export value declined in 2025 amid global economic headwinds, the rising share of BEV, PHEV, and HEV exports reflects Thailand’s accelerating shift toward electrified mobility. The expansion of hybrid and electric vehicle exports suggests long-term structural transformation in Thailand’s automotive production and export base.
