The Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry, has released the latest statistics on the number of industrial factories that received licenses nationwide in November 2024. A total of 165 factories were granted licenses, with a combined investment of 17,729.35 million baht. Rayong province led the pack with 18 new factory licenses and a total investment of 2,283.79 million baht.

Top 3 Provinces with the Most Factory Licenses in October 2024

1) Rayong​​: 18 licenses, 2,283.79 million baht in investments,  974 new jobs, 9,710.51 horsepower in machinery.

2) Samut Prakan: 14 licenses,  4,041.33 million baht in investments, 630 new jobs, 16,493.51 horsepower in machinery

3) Nakhon Pathom: 12 licenses, 377.10 million baht in investments, 382 new jobs, 7,133.70 horsepower in machinery

When comparing the provinces with the highest increase in industrial investment, Samut Prakan: topped the list with a total investment of 4,011.33 million baht, followed by ChonBuri with 3,151.83 million baht, and Rayong with 2,283.79 million baht.

These statistics reflect the growing industrial development and investment in these key provinces, showcasing their importance in Thailand's industrial landscape.
