Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) Bangkok Office has established a Sustainable Business Desk to promote initiatives toward achieving Carbon Neutrality (CN).  As a part of the initiatives, JETRO Bangkok in collaboration with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) and the Eastern Economic Corridor Office of Thailand (EECO) will co-organize "Thailand-Japan Sustainable Business Forum 2025" on 4th March 2025 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Ballroom 1, 4th floor, InterContinental Hotel, Bangkok.

At the Forum, apart from welcome addresses from  Secretary General of BOI and Secretary General of EECO,  leading Thai government agencies to promote and support Japanese investments in Thailand, the private collaboration has been driven by Thailand-Japan government supports; one of highlights is Microalgae CCUS Collaboration Project Agreement and Signing Ceremony between BLCP Power Limited and Algal Bio. Other highlights include Talk Sessions featuring prominent and renowned Thai and Japanese companies to help accelerate sustainability towards CN through their collaborative activities. CP Group together with CPF join hands with Thermalytica to showcase their sustainability insights and PoC to accelerate sustainability.  Another interesting collaborative tie-up, PTT Global Chemical and CBT/Toray will present their collaborative activities in upscaling agriculture wastes especially non-edible biomass-derived sugars to bio-based resins and fibers for commercialization contributing to circular-based and low-carbon production with sustainability as a priority.
