TAKAMAZ, a world-leading lathe manufacturer, is set to showcase its latest innovations at METALEX 2024, held at BITEC Bangkok. Part manufacturers are invited to explore the future of machining with TAKAMAZ’s cutting-edge technology designed to address the industry's evolving challenges.

Takamatsu Machinery Thailand will be exhibiting at METALEX 2024 from November 20-23, 2024, held at BITEC Bangkok, featuring innovative lathes from Japan. Visit us at Hall 102, Booth BN19.

Mr. Eiji Yamashita, Managing Director, and Mr. Atipol Chutisereeporn, Executive Director, revealed that TAKAMAZ lathes are powered by cutting-edge technologies such as mill-turn machining, IoT, and digital transformation (DX). As the world shifts towards sustainability, energy efficiency has become a top priority. TAKAMAZ addresses this need with its flagship product, the XWT-8 lathe.

TAKAMAZ XWT-8 CNC Lathe

The TAKAMAZ XWT-8 is a high-precision CNC lathe with two spindles and two turrets, capable of handling a wide range of applications. Its automation features enhance productivity and reduce both energy consumption and labor costs.

The XWT-8's energy efficiency is attributed to TAKAMAZ's proprietary "Thermony®" thermal displacement correction system. This system accurately predicts the effects of temperature changes on workpiece dimensions, minimizing machining errors. Additionally, the machine's air-cooled design eliminates the need for coolant, further reducing operating costs and energy consumption.

At METALEX 2024, Takamatsu Machinery Thailand will also showcase a variety of other TAKAMAZ automated lathes, including GSL-10H and SJ-460x1000G.

Experience the future of machining with TAKAMAZ at Hall 102, Booth BN19 during METALEX 2024, November 20-23, 2024, at BITEC Bangkok.
