TAKAMAZ PRIVATE SHOW 2022 underlines machinery demands in automotive industry
The TAKAMAZ PRIVATE SHOW 2022 underlines the machinery demands in the automotive industry. The ripple effects from Japan’s electric vehicle manufacturing are causing many production lines of gasoline-powered automobiles to be transferred to Thailand.
On May 26-27, 2022, Takamatsu Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. organized the TAKAMAZ Private Show 2022 under the concept of machine automation and innovation at Bang Phli office in Samut Prakan.
It presented three work solutions with TAKAMAZ machines that bring innovation and automation together: the GSL-10H TAKAMAZ lathe with 1 spindle and 1 turret that works with FANUC cobots; the XT-6 Loader TAKAMAZ lathe that works in conjunction with the ENSHU WE30Ve E-loader machining center; and the XW-60 medium-sized TAKAMAZ machine that works with the ACCRETECH measuring system, which offers automatic feedback to reduce the manual process to control the offset, and so it is essentially a solution for mass production.
In addition, there were numerous presentations of parts manufacturing technology from our partners, such as HAKUSAN chip conveyors, DYNEX air chuck unit systems, SUMITOMO ELECTRIC cutting tools, KITAGAWA hydraulic and air chuck systems, NEOS machine coolants, ENSHU machining center, and ACCRETECH measuring systems.
Over 300 customers responded enthusiastically to the event over the course of two days. The credit should go to all of the committed TAKAMAZ machine distributors, including HSM Machinery, who gave clients the chance to witness how an automated system functions as a solution to the market's current issues, giving them confidence in their ability to select the best option.
TAKAMAZ Private Show 2022
Mr. Hideki Karaki, President of Takamatsu Machinery Thailand, stated that this event served as a kick-off to a serious comeback of business after the protracted COVID-19 pandemic.
Mr. Eiji Yamashita, Managing Director, commented that TAKAMAZ is still determined to keep up with the market and provide good solutions from fresh ideas in the event despite close monitoring of COVID-19. The event adhered to the preventive measures in which everyone went through an ATK and temperature checking process before entering.
Mr. Atipol Chutisereeporn, Executive Director, revealed that parts manufacturing in Thailand is experiencing a high demand for machinery. Due to the entry of the electric vehicle era, the production lines in Japan have been modified to accommodate the new generation of electric vehicles, resulting in the production lines of gasoline-powered automobiles being transferred to Thailand.
Thumbs up for the TAKAMAZ Private Show 2022’s accomplishments, which included drawing more than 300 attendees and launching a number of automated collaborative machines. This makes it easier to visualize and make choices. It also sparks the idea of implementing it and applying it to a real manufacturing line during this challenging time in terms of cost, time, and labor. Those who missed the event and are interested in solutions from the event may contact Takamatsu Machinery (Thailand) Co., Ltd. or its distributor, HSM Machinery Co., Ltd.
